Consider the fact thst there was an unequivocal Peoples’ Referendum which became the largest vote in British history and it returned a clear majority in favour of an Unconditional BreXit.
For this reason it is obvious that the damage of holding a re-run would be catastrophic not just for British democracy but for democracy worldwide – it would bring democracy into disrepute as has the EU by re-running votes when the people have had the timerity to vote for a result that has not suited the unelected masters of the EU!
Many will remember there was much clamouring that the British peoples were far too stupid to have known what they were voting for therefore the Government seized control back despite having promised, before the vote, that the result of the electorates decision would be implemented by the Government. This was promised in a leaflet sent at a cost to the tax payers of over £9Million, it was also promised by the Prime Minister.
Clearly no one cares what our politicians opinions are – despite the fact that they have corruptly and treacherously seized control from the people deeply damaging trust in politicians.
We voted for an Unconditional BreXit and for our elected employees to try to impose their views and values on our clearly and democraticly chosen future outside of the EU, the Single Market, the Customs Union, free movement, open borders, funding the EU’s profligacy & undemocratic costs and investments and control by the ECJ and the alien concepts of EU Law which is based on the utterly alien structure of Roman Law.
Democracy was seized from the peoples of Britain on the grounds that we did not know what we were doing for us to have it proved beyond doubt that our politicians were dishonest, corrupt and hadn’t a clue what they were doing and now look at the mess their political posturing and squabbling and personal interests has caused.
A mess so great that even many of the politicians are desperately trying to hand the decision back for yet another Peoples’ Vote!
Remain was defeated, despite the support of the Government and much of Parliament and the self styled self selected so called elite however the vote for an Unconditional BreXit clearly won – so get on with it!
If ultimately our Government is incapable of acting on our vote due to squabbling, posturing and self interest such that they admit their incompetence and hold another Peoples’ Vote to pass the buck – So Be It!
Obviously the question of Remain or Leave is answered and can not be asked again with any democratic integrity, thus the question will be:
Do You Wish To Leave The EU On The Terms Acceptable to The EU Put Forward By Mrs. May Our Prime Minister
Do You Wish To Leave The EU On A No Deal Basis.
There is no other question that could with any ethical integrity be asked – even this Peoples’ Vote will take time – there is no appetite for delay beyond the 29-Mar-2018 and absolutely no appetite for paying the utterly corrupt EU another penny piece, be subject to ECJ control or subject to the Irish Backstab!
This would seem to indicate that Parliament has so bungled their duty and so undermined Theresa May that she had absolutely no negotiating tools – all because they were so full of their own importance that they failed to carry out their duty and complete their instruction to effect an Unconditional BreXit as voted for by their employers!
This leaves us with only one realistic outcome – A No Deal, due to the treacherous political posturing. Therefore get on with it and see what you can salvage AFTER we Leave – There is then a whole world to trade with, many with healthy growing economies – unlike the squabbling incestuous introspective EU, with its bullying and abusive style of governance bereft of meaningfull democracy or Justice.
Marcus Stead makes many very sound points:
Analyst: 2nd Brexit Referendum Isn’t Going to Happen Because of Sheer Logistics
With British Prime Minister Theresa May surviving a vote of confidence earlier this week, Sputnik spoke to journalist Marcus Stead about Brexit developments.
Sputnik: Should there be a second Brexit referendum?
Marcus Stead: A second referendum is not going to happen because of the sheer logistics of it. To get another referendum you need to do the following; the first thing you need to do is revoke article fifty, then you need to get legislation for the referendum through the House of Commons.© Sputnik / Evgenia Filimianova
Then you need to decide what’s going to be on the ballot paper and that in itself is quite a task. Will it be Mrs May’s deal, no deal or remain, or will remain be on the ballot paper? Once you’ve done that, you’ve then got to give the electoral commission six months’ notice; which is what they require to run a referendum, and then you need to appoint official campaigns for both sides, and there’s no way that that’s going to happen in time for the twenty-ninth of March 2019.READ MORE: EU Leaders Discuss Brexit, Russia, Migration, Fake News at Council Summit — MPs
Sputnik: What will be the likely outcome of the ongoing political stalemate over Brexit?
Marcus Stead: It’s clear that there’s no parliamentary majority for any of the options. To give you an idea of the extent of the deadlock; any option needs the backing of three hundred and twenty MPs for it to get through the house, which is half the House of Commons.© REUTERS / Dado Ruvic/Illustration
Mrs May’s deal has about a hundred and ninety-six, a so-called hard Brexit is backed by one hundred and sixteen, the official Labour opposition policy is backed by one hundred and fifty, a so-called soft Brexit, i.e. the Norway option is backed by forty-four, and a second referendum is backed by a hundred and thirty-three, so whichever way you look at it, we are in a state of parliamentary deadlock. Now what I think is going to happen; Mrs May has gone to Brussels, she’s said to the nineteen twenty-two committee that she’s going to seek legal reassurances on the backstop, and she’s come back this morning with absolutely nothing.
Now in one sense, she might be glad of that, because if she’d come back with something she’d have to put it before the House of Commons next week before the Christmas recess and she didn’t really want to do that.© REUTERS / Jon Nazca
What I think will happen is; that they’ll come back in the new year and the stark reality of a no-deal Brexit will face parliament and I think that the Norway option, i.e. EFTA and EEAA membership will begin to look a lot more attractive, and there’s a glimmer of hope for a parliamentary consensus on that. If that doesn’t happen, then we are looking at a no deal Brexit. If we were to join the European Free Trade Area; as Norway is, we would be inside the single market but outside the customs union, so the most important thing for Brexit to be a success is that we are outside the customs union, so we can form trade deals with the wider world.
So far as the single market goes; I have no great objections to single market membership. What concerns me though is this talk of Norway plus, where the plus is being used as a means of keeping us in the customs union indefinitely it seems to be, as a means of resolving the Northern Ireland issue.
It would be an unsatisfactory way of resolving the Northern Ireland border issue, because all the benefits of Brexit economically would be lost.

With an avg. 1.2M voters per MEP & Britain with 16% of EU GDP and 13% of the EU’s population yet having only 8% (if united) say, whilst holding less than 3% of the various offices within the EU Do note The EUropean Parliament has no ability to make policy and has a Commission of unelected bureaucrats, thus clearly the EU is not even a pretence of being a democracy despite its protestations!Do note that many senior apparatchicks and even elected politicians speak openly of the ‘Post Democratic era’ with no sense of shame or irony and in complete contempt of the so called electorate – yet The EU & many of its vassal States/Regions are all too willing to slaughter people in Sovereign States, to impose The EU’s chosen brand of democracy on them!
Now as President Junker announced in his ‘State of the union’ speech 2017 the aim is to create an EU military force and centralise ever more of the decision making and control!
The imposition of a Government and policies upon its vassal regions such as the peoples of Greece shows just how far from being a democracy the EU is.
Just follow the recent EU display of so called ‘Democracy’:
France and the Netherlands voted against the proposed EU constitution in 2005, only to have those votes ignored.
Ireland voted against ratifying the Lisbon treaty in 2008, but then later under pressure & threats had to change its mind.
Greece for me was the final straw. It became clear in 2015 that it didn’t matter which way the Greek people voted. The birthplace of democracy had become its tomb. That was enough. I was going to vote to leave the EU when the chance came.
No political party of any significance in Britain took active steps to achieve a Referendum – the task was eventually taken by an Indipendent West Midlands MEP Nikki Sinclaire who personally launched and funded the gathering of a petition of 225,000 signatures delivered to Parliament via Downing Street, thus forcing a debate in the House of Commons on an IN/OUT Referendum, which led to David Cameron’s first consequential rebellion.
It was due to winning that debate, officially opposed by every party including Ukip that David Cameron was forced to include a promise of an IN/OUT Referendum in the Tory Manifesto at the next General Election. The rest is history & despite no Parliamentary Party backing the OUT vote & Government spending Millions of Pounds of public money leafletting & promoting ‘Project Fear’ to try to persuade the British people to Remain just as they had at the first Referendum in 1975 – This time their lies and threats were not heeded and in the largest vote in British history Britain voted by a clear majority to Leave.
Nikki Sinclaire’s OUT result left Cameron & his co conspirator Osborne with no option but to resign, sadly some of the other traitors have remained to try to hinder progress to BreXit, aided by their corrupt allies in the EU and \eu funding and bribes!
There will be little or no change in Britain’s economic position, if we leave the EU, using a better negotiated, customised & updated version of the ‘Norway Model’ as a stepping stone to becoming a full member of the Eropean Economic Area, where all will benefit, as we secure trade relations with the EU’s vassal regions, with an EFTA style status and can trade and negotiate independently on the global stage, as members of The Commonwealth and the Anglosphere.
This is of course dependent on a modicum of intelligence on the part of Britain’s politicians and negotiators but it also requires the integrity of Parliament to uphod democracy and the integrity of EU politicuians & apparchicks to act ethically and without their normal vindictive mallice.
I believe Leaving the EU will be turned into something of a rough ride by the ignorant and the corrupt but I have no doubt that in the long run Leaving the EU will prove conclusively to be in the best interests of Britain and our true allies. I also believe that Britain leaving the EU will prove to be the catalyst to great changes within the EU and hopefully its democratisation as without great changes it is indubitably doomed.
Do not overlook the fact that politicians have plotted and schemmed since the 1950s and we have actually been vassals of the EU, when it was still using the aesopian linguistics and calling itself The Common Market in the early 1970s, a name the bureaucrats arbitrarily changed to EUropean Union in the early 1990s as they worked towards their long term goals of an ever closer centrally controlled Political and economic Union with its own anthem, currency, flag and rigid central control by its self appointed bureacrats towards a new Empirate –
It will take many years to rectify the mess our political class got us into and we have no other peacefull means by which to extricate ourselves than to depend on that self same self styled elite, who all too often forget they work for us!
One huge benefit of BreXit will be that we can negotiate with bodies like the WTO, UN, WHO, IMF, CODEX and the like, directly, in our own interest and that of our partners around the world, in both the Commonwealth and the Anglosphere at large; rather than having negotiations and terms imposed by unelected EU bureacrats and their interpretation of the rules handed down, as if they were some great achievement of the EU’s!The greatest change and benefit will be political, as we improve our democracy and self determination, with the ability to deselect and elect our own Government, with an improved Westminster structure, see >Harrogate Agenda<.
