Hi,
in a particularly tasteless, ill considered and cheap shot, in his desperation to defend Barack Obama’s hypocricy David Cameron said:
“But I do think it’s good to listen to your allies and friends and America, who work with us closely, who lost a lot of people in the First and Second World Wars fighting alongside the British, as often do.
“I think he is perfectly entitled to say ‘as a friend of Britain, I’m not going to tell you what to do, I’m just going to tell you what to think’.”
Conveniently overlooking the fact that America was a very grudging allie in both World Wars arriving long after their commencement and in the instance of WWII it was only when America found itself under direct attack by Japan that the American Government bestirred itself to assist Britain, it must also be remembered how hugely inflated were many of the supplies and armaments Britain purchased from America.
I find the comment of David Cameron particularly insulting to our Commonwealth allies who turned up and stood shoulder to shoulder with Britain from the outset in both wars – many of whom have spoken out strongly in favour of BreXit – which is surprising when you consider just how duplicitously Edward Heath and his cronies treated The Commonwealth when they lied to Britain to dupe us into EU membership, particularly betraying many Countries in Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the Indian sub continent!
Boris Johnson attacks Barack Obama’s EU plea: For America it’s ‘Do as I say not as I do’
The Mayor of London said it was time to ‘channel the spirit of the early Obama – and believe in Britain again’

BORIS JOHNSON is turning Barack Obama’s “Yes We Can” election-winning slogan against him – as he urges voters to back a Brexit.
Writing exclusively for the Sun, the Mayor of London said it was time to “channel the spirit of the early Obama – and believe in Britain again”.
And he stormed: “Can we take back control of our borders and our money and our system of Government? Yes we can.”

BoJo added that America would never surrender control of so much of its democracy as we have ceded to Brussels.
The Tory heavyweight stormed: “It’s a breathtaking example of the principle of do-as-I-say-but-not-as-I-do.”
Barack Obama first used ‘Yes We Can’ as he stormed to White House in the 2008 Presidential campaign.
BoJo’s blast came as the President arrived in Britain tonight at the start of a controversial two-day visit.
After lunching with the Queen, he is widely expected to issue a pro-EU rallying call alongside David Cameron in Downing Street lon Friday afternoon.
White House aides have said Mr Obama will be “very straightforward and candid” about why the US believes the UK should remain the EU.
The President is expected to boost the Remain camp by saying the UK should stay in the EU PA
He is expected to risk the wrath of ‘Out’ campaigners by saying Britain’s EU membership is vital for the war on terror.
Boris Johnson said the US President “would not dream” of embroiling the US in anything like the European Union.
And he said it was “nonsense” to say Britain’s world standing would slide outside the EU.
Obama will have lunch with the Queen in Windsor tomorrow PA
And he insisted Britain would be more useful to Washington on the international stage if we vote to leave on June 23.
He said: “How can we have ‘influence’ in the Brussels commission, when only 3.6% of Commission officials come from this country?
“Can you imagine Americans entrusting their trade negotiations to a body that comprised only 3.6 per cent Americans? The idea is laughable.”
Ukip leader Nigel Farage has told Obama to “butt out” of the referendum PA
He added: “We can thrive as never before – and therefore can be even better and more valuable allies of the United States.”
Out campaigners made a last ditch plea to Barack Obama to stay out of the EU debate as the Presidential Airforce One flew into Stansted this evening.
Ukip chief Nigel Farage said Mr Obama should “butt out” – while former Cabinet Minister Iain Duncan Smith said he failed to see how an intervention by the US President could be “appropriate”.
Boris said UK-US relations would be even better if we left the EU Getty
Eurosceptic MP Martin Vickers said the Government should retaliate by setting out their preferred candidate for the American presidency later this year.
And former Foreign Secretary David Owen insisted Britain would be “stronger partner” for America outside the EU.
He told campaigners: “Outside the EU, Britain will continue to lead in NATO and will retain a permanent seat on the UN’s Security Council.
“We will be Europe’s pre-eminent intelligence and military power and an even stronger partner for our friends.”
David Cameron said Obama is “perfectly entitled” to an opinion on the EU referendum PA
Speaking today David Cameron defended Barack Obama’s right to intervene in the EU row.
Speaking to BBC Radio Bristol, the PM said: “I will say to Barack it’s a matter for the British people, no one is going to tell us what to do, we are going to make the decision on our own.
With an avg. 1.2M voters per MEP & Britain having only 8%, if united, say. The EUropean Parliament has no ability to make policy and has a Commission of unelected bureaucrats, thus clearly the EU is not even a pretence of being a democracy; yet The EU & many of its vassal States are willing to slaughter people in Sovereign States to impose The EU’s chosen brand of democracy on them!
The imposition of a Government and policies upon its vassal regions such as the peoples of Greece shows just how far from being a democracy the EU is.
There will be little or no change in Britain’s economic position, when we leave the EU, using a better negotiated & updated version of the ‘Norway Model’ as a stepping stone to becoming a full member of the Eropean Economic Area, where all will benefit, as we secure trade relations with the EU’s vassal regions, with an EFTA style status and can trade and negotiate independently on the global stage, as members of The Commonwealth and the Anglosphere.
One huge benefit will be that we can negotiate with bodies like the WTO, UN, WHO, IMF, CODEX and the like, directly in our own interest and that of our partners around the world in both the Commonwealth and the Anglosphere at large; rather than having negotiations and term imposed by unelected EU bureacrats and their ionterpretation of the rules handed down as if they were some great achievement by the EU.
The greatest change and benefit will be political, as we improve our democracy and self determination, with the ability to deselect and elect our own Government, with an improved Westminster structure, see >Harrogate Agenda<.
How we go about the process of disentangling our future wellbeing from the EU is laid out in extensive, well researched and immensely tedious detail see >FleXcit< or for a brief video summary CLICK HERE
