Hi,

beware of Scotland being led by the nose to fulfill the batty ambitions of the ill informed, short sighted & self serving lunatic SNP!

When Spain gets into economic trouble the EU impose fines of €2 billion and provides ways for them to get more deeply embroiled in cheap debt.

When Scotland gets into trouble London sends taxes up North and subsidises growth of new businesses in the region.

That is the difference between being inside a fake superstate with a fake currency union, and being in a real union with a real unified currency.

Does Scotland really think the EU will pay their bills when they can contribute nothing to the EU funds?

Do bear in mind Scotland has zero independent exports of consequence and oil is no value as prices have fallen dramatically, and are unlikely to ever again be significant particularly not only because of the ever renewing superfluity of oil as it endlessly developes and as mankind finds ever more of it and more viable methods of extraction, but also as ‘Si’ increasingly takes over the energy market over the next few years.

Wind turbines are a non viable resource requiring massive subsidies and hydro output can not supply Scotland’s energy needs, let alone supply for export – now are you surprised that the EU put in a cable from France to Scotland?

The Scots naively believed the East Coast Cablet was so that they could export elecricity Ha Ha – it was so that French nuclear industry could supply Scotland & the north of England!

Whisky is hardly an industry to found an economy on, particularly as Japan way out produces Scotland – just what will Scotland do for money if it is independent, even with a giant begging bowl in the failing EU?

Do note as speculation developes as to be what order EU vassal states will compete in Referendums to escape and one of the major contributors has by a majority voted to leave there arer voices in Scotland clamouring to join this undemocratic bloated and outdated model of supra national governance with all but no say in what Scots will ever be allowed to do in future!

Some Scots even profess to wish to join the EU as a far flung outpost living on subsidies as the EU works towards direct personal and corporate taxation, an army and military of its own, accession of Turkey and other very alien beliefs and styles of Governance and a new treaty handing yet more power to the unelected Brusells Beaurocrats!

Just what is Scotland’s industrial or even economic base – a few months of tourism a year & some golf!

Note the sharp falls in British £ & the EUro and the disasterous fall in EU & British shares – even if Scotland quit the UK, as more informed Scots fear, the world markets had more faith in the £ & British shares as they bounced back than in either the EUro or EU economy which are still way down on world markets.

Scotland is ill advised to try to muddy the waters with efforts to negotiate directly with the EU at this stage as it will be seen as an effort to stab Britain in the back and alrteady there are some voices saying pull our investments out of Scotland and institute a border with full controls, who needs the perpetual drain of Scotland that would result and the EU is welcome to them after such a betrayal!

Perhaps some other rteports will help to put this in perspective:

From The FT:

Hollande Meets Le Pen to Discuss Brexit; Can France Escape a Referendum?

25 Saturday Jun 2016

In the wake of the stunning Brexit vote come news that French president Francois Hollande has called for a meeting of minds to discuss a response.

Interesting, the group includes Eurosceptic party leader Marine Le Pen.

François Hollande met Marine Le Pen at the Elysée Palace on Saturday in a sign of how the far-right leader has taken centre stage in France in the wake of Britain’s vote to leave the EU.

“Mr Hollande gathered France’s most prominent political party leaders — including Ms Pen — for a series of back-to-back meetings as he sought to thrash out a response to Thursday’s UK referendum.

The move comes less than a year before France’s presidential election, in which both Mr Hollande and Ms Le Pen are expected to run. The French president was also meeting Nicolas Sarkozy, his predecessor in the Elysee and another likely candidate in next year’s race.

Britain’s decision to leave the EU has further raised the profile of Ms Le Pen, whose National Front has already notched up a series of impressive results in local elections.

Ms Le Pen used Saturday’s meeting to reiterate her demands for a referendum on France’s membership of the EU, but she said that her calls were rejected and admitted that she was left “with the feeling of having come for nothing”.

She added that there was a clear strategy to make Britain’s exit painful so as to set an example to others. “It is clear that some people want the divorce to be as painful as possible so that others don’t get the idea of going down the same road as the British,” she said after the meeting with Mr Hollande.

The French president is seeking to adopt a tough stance on the UK’s decision — one that would impose costs on Britain for leaving the bloc — not least to limit Ms Le Pen’s calls for a so-called “Frexit”, and to avoid the issue dominating the forthcoming campaign.

On Saturday, Emmanuel Macron, the French economy minister, called for a new European project to make the bloc “much more transparent and democratic”, and said that it should be put to citizens via a referendum. “We have never had the courage to organise a real European referendum,” he said at Paris’s Sciences Po university conference. “This next project has to give it the strength.”

Mr Macron took a hard line on Britain’s decision to leave the EU, insisting that it was “the failure of the British government”. He added: “if we [the rest of Europe] have failed, it was to have allowed a member to take the European project hostage in a unilateral way.”

There were jubilant scenes in the National Front headquarters on Friday, and its leaders appeared emboldened by the result across the Channel. Florian Philippot, FN’s vice-president, told reporters that Britain’s decision would force the same question on French voters. “We cannot escape a referendum [in France],” he said.

Mr Philippot, who is strongly associated with Ms Le Pen’s attempts to recast the party that her father founded in 1972 as a legitimate, mainstream party for the 21st century, added: “It shows the French people, first, that a referendum on the EU is possible — and in a country that has an equivalent size to France. And it shows that you can leave. That is considerable progress in political terms.””

It has also been reported that Sarkozy has tabled proposals for major EU treaty changes including limiting the power of the Commision.

Brexit: Angela Merkel pushes back on EU pressure for quick divorce.

Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, has attempted to rein in pressure from within Europe to force Britain quickly to trigger divorce proceedings with the EU, saying that while “it shouldn’t take forever”, rushing into an exit was unwarranted.

Ms Merkel’s cautious words, coming during a day-long gathering of her CDU/CSU bloc, came in stark contrast to those from other EU leaders, including European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker and even some within her own government, pushing for immediate Brexit.

Mr Juncker told German media that he would like Brexit proceedings “to get started immediately”.

“Britons decided . . . that they want to leave the European Union, so it doesn’t make any sense to wait until October to try to negotiate the terms of their departure,” Mr Juncker said.

Similarly, foreign ministers of the founding six EU states, who held a hastily arranged meeting in Berlin on Saturday, also urged quick action. Jean-Marc Ayrault, the French foreign minister, said it should only take “a few days” for a new UK leader to invoke Article 50 of the Lisbon treaty, which begins two-year exit proceedings.

Mr Schulz and Sigmar Gabriel, Ms Merkel’s deputy chancellor — acting as German social democrats — have put forward a 10-point EU reform plan proposing more power for national parliaments and the EU parliament. They criticise the union for taking decisions at closed-door gatherings of the 28 leaders — an approach favoured by Ms Merkel.

Ms Merkel, who has resisted any moves that would separate the core six founding EU members from the rest of the bloc, emphasised that any decision on a way forward with Britain should be taken with all member states. At an EU summit next week, the leaders of the 27 remaining members are expected to meet without Mr Cameron in the room.
I have also read a report that EU foreign ministers have met US Officials to discuss Brexit.
What was Cameron telling them!?

If you are really serious about understanding the way ahead & how it should be handled may I suggest you read:

Whilst the politicians and showboaters of the shoddy little campaigns feathered their own nests there was work being done and a fully thought through plan was on the table, though neither the media nor the campaigners or politicians were prepared to do the work needed to understand 100s of us contributed and over 80,000 full downloads have taken place so far!

Let us hope the Scots wake up and smell the coffee in time to avoid destruction particularly as rather out of step with many in the reast of Britain I value the well being and association with Scotland, an association in Union on equal terms that came about many centuries ago, mainly based upon the same facts – namely that Scotland was fundamentally unable to feed itself reliably hence the endless tribal/clan wars and animosity as for centuries as the population had grown they were forced to steal food from ajoining valleys and any weaker neighbour.

The hungry years in Scotland were exacerbated by poor home rule with leaders like the embarrassing Prince Charlie who was ordered backto lead his people by the French King, in payment of his many years as a libertine parasite at Versailles (many wonder how he gained the soubriquette of ‘Bonny’!). He led his peoples to disaster from the rear and then fled, dressed once more as a woman (hidden in the skirts of Flora MacDonald!), to Skye from where he was evacuated once more to France!

It is worthy of note that Scotland is on the very margins of crop production with only just sufficient hours of sunlight  and warmth to bring a crop through germination to a ripe harvest – crops which not infrequently are of poor yield and at times when the volcano of Mt. Hecla errupts fail for several years on the trit, until the dust settles.

It is this lack of economic activity in Scotland that has led to the denuding of the population nortyh of its great rift valley and the fact that multiples of the existing population of Scotland live as emigres around the world!

I can but beseech the Scots to consider their own wellbeing rather than listen to the ambitions of its self serving political elite.

Nicola Sturgeon would be well advised not to be overly impressed by her own media personna and publicity as they are using her for news and in many cases to cause problems for Britain having lost a significant chunk of their income as they will cease to be funded (bribed) by the EU with subsidies and soft loans – do not forget the generous allowances, facilities and subsidies emjoyed by the accreditted media covering the EU and EU events and projects!

The BBC has been receiving some £70,000 a month plus for example see:
http://heatst.com/uk/bbc-receives-71000-of-secret-eu-cash-each-month/

The BBC receives an average of £71,000 per month in secret handouts from the EU.

Under an obscure initiative called the EU framework programme, the Corporation applied for and was given more than £2.1 million between April 2013 and September 2015.

A spokesman said the grants were used “mainly for research and development” projects.

With the EU referendum taking place next month, Heat Street asked how much EU cash the BBC has received over the last 9 months.

The spokesman refused to disclose these details.

Thanks to a Freedom of Information request made by Heat Street last October, it is known that between April and September 2015 the BBC applied for and was given £476,000.

This was on top of £878,000 in 2013/14 and £778,000 in 2014/15 – an average of £71,000 over 30 months.

As far as Heat Street can tell, the Brussels-backed windfall is not explicitly referred to in the BBC’s annual report, on its website, in any press releases, or on any other BBC information outlet, leaving TV licence fee payers in the dark about the grants.

Now MPs fear the BBC’s cosy relationship with the EU could lead to bias in its referendum coverage.

On June 21 the BBC will host an EU debate at Wembley Arena.

BBC insiders said bosses were “worried” about its receipt of EU funds becoming an issue before the referendum on June 23, which may explain its reluctance to reveal how much money it has accepted since last September.

Pro-Brexit Tory MP Philip Davies told Heat Street: “If the BBC applies for and receives millions of pounds from the EU but doesn’t admit this in its accounts, how can we be sure it will report on the EU referendum in an objective way?”

He added: “Why on earth is the BBC, with guaranteed annual income of almost £4 billion, applying for any money from the EU anyway? Whether it accepted £1 or £1 million, it cannot claim to be politically neutral. It should be forced to declare this interest to its viewers and listeners whenever it is reporting anything related to the EU referendum.”

The BBC claims none of the money found its way into its editorial budget.

A spokesman said: “The BBC protects its impartiality by not permitting any external funding for news programming, which includes European Union grants. Each year the BBC publishes details of any grants we receive, of which a very small proportion have come from the European Union, mainly to fund research and development.”

May I draw your attention to the fact that the BBC considers the £Millions it receives from the EU to be a very small proportion of its grant income over and above its basic income from tax (License Fee) of £4 Billion a year!

Now perhaps you understand why so much weight was given to the Remain Campaign in the run up to the vote and why since the media (in the main) lost the vote they have predominantly interviewed Remain doom merchants and their anti British anti democratic spin!

With an avg. 1.2M voters per MEP & Britain having only 8%, if united, say. The EUropean Parliament has no ability to make policy and has a Commission of unelected bureaucrats, thus clearly the EU is not even a pretence of being a democracy; yet The EU & many of its vassal States are willing to slaughter people in Sovereign States to impose The EU’s chosen brand of democracy on them!

The imposition of a Government and policies upon its vassal regions such as the peoples of Greece shows just how far from being a democracy the EU is.

There will be little or no change in Britain’s economic position, when we leave the EU, using a better negotiated & updated version of the ‘Norway Model’ as a stepping stone to becoming a full member of the Eropean Economic Area, where all will benefit, as we secure trade relations with the EU’s vassal regions, with an EFTA style status and can trade and negotiate independently on the global stage, as members of The Commonwealth and the Anglosphere.

One huge benefit will be that we can negotiate with bodies like the WTO, UN, WHO, IMF, CODEX and the like, directly in our own interest and that of our partners around the world in both the Commonwealth and the Anglosphere at large; rather than having negotiations and term imposed by unelected EU bureacrats and their ionterpretation of the rules handed down as if they were some great achievement by the EU.
The greatest change and benefit will be political, as we improve our democracy and self determination, with the ability to deselect and elect our own Government, with an improved Westminster structure, see >Harrogate Agenda<.
How we go about the process of disentangling our future wellbeing from the EU is laid out in extensive, well researched and immensely tedious detail see >FleXcit< or for a brief video summary CLICK HERE
