Hi,
let us not forget that in negotiating our way to BreXit these United Kingdoms must take into consideration a huge planopy of international laws and agreements as we negotiate new deals and treaties with both the members of the EU, the EU itself and foreign countries and organisations around the planet.
It has been the claim of the naiive and the duplicitous that has claimed, and tried to dupe others into believing that after BreXit Britain can make its own laws and trading agreements on its own terms.
Just as many have been duped into the belief that the EU has made Britain’s laws and trade agreements since the early days of the Common Market and the signing of the Treaty of Rome.
Here are just a sample of the many bodies and organisations whose rules, laws and policies must be complied with by Britain once BreXit takes place, the same organisations that has controlled the making of the EUs laws and diktats that Britain as members accepted:

The Financial Stability Board (FSB)
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
The Group of Twenty (G20)
The Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC)
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)
The International Labour Organisation (ILO)

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
The OIE (The World Organisation for Animal Health)
The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC)

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE or ECE)
The United Nations and its subsidiary bodies
The World Customs Organisation (WCO)
The World Health Organisation (WHO)
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE)
The World Trade Organisation (WTO)
To name but a few!
This framework will be augmented by many other formal and informal bodies, including the likes of the FDA, DEA etc., these and many many more will all have their input to the making of law and compliance with various conditions and standards that are involved in International laws and trading standards, required to ensure fair trade on a level playing field around the world.

With an avg. 1.2M voters per MEP & Britain having only 8%, if united, say. The EUropean Parliament has no ability to make policy and has a Commission of unelected bureaucrats, thus clearly the EU is not even a pretence of being a democracy; yet it is willing to slaughter people in Sovereign States to impose democracy on them!
